Bryan Weeks was named president of Silver Creek Capital Management. It is a new position. Mr. Weeks was managing director of Russell Investment Group's institutional relationship management team. He will not be replaced, and his responsibilities are being shared among the existing team members, said Russell spokesman Steve Claiborne. R. Spencer Potts also joined Silver Creek's New York office, where he will be involved with hedge fund manager due diligence, investor relations and business development. Mr. Potts was a director in Merrill Lynch's hedge fund origination group. A replacement for Mr. Potts has not been named, said Terez Hanhan, a Merrill Lynch spokeswoman. Silver Creek has $3.7 billion in assets under management.
