Pursue These Guys Thru Nomi Ghez - Need COO?
Three departures at Perry Partners
Feb-4-2005 (MAR Hedge) - Three longtime partners of Perry Partners LLC have left the New York-based hedge fund operation to launch their own firm, according to a recent letter sent to investors by principal Richard Perry.
Chief trader Rick Crosby, insurance analyst Bill Feil and investor relations head Bill Vernon have "our full support" in their endeavor, Perry's letter said.
The letter didn't provide additional details about the trio's new firm. Perry Partners is providing them temporary office space, but as a matter of policy won't invest in their venture.
Perry affirmed in his letter that the departures won't have a negative effect on Perry Partners' trading abilities or performance, citing the depth of the firm's trading desk.
